Atlantic Can Supports Operation Yellow Ribbon’s Annual Cookie Drive

This year, Atlantic Can teamed up with Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey (OYRSJ) to provide gifts for troops deployed during the holiday season. Brian LeBlanc of Atlantic Can Co. was on hand at the event in Medford, New Jersey this past Saturday to personally deliver cookie tins and help the OYRSJ volunteers with packing and shipping.

“Operation Yellow Ribbon is a great organization and I really wanted to get Atlantic Can involved and do our part to show support for our troops overseas”, says Brian LeBlanc. “It’s important to give back during the holiday season and we’re doing that by giving the brave men and women on duty a taste of home.”

Hundreds of cookies and baked goods were donated for the event and Atlantic Can donated decorative, reusable cookie tins to keep the treats fresh for their recipients abroad.

“We hope these gifts help our troops feel a closer to home this year”, says LeBlanc. “Atlantic Can was proud to be a part of this event and had a great experience working with Operation Yellow Ribbon.”
